Engagement approach
From first call to written recommendations
Financial advice here is a sequence of meetings and documents, not a dashboard you log into. This page shows how a typical consultation moves from enquiry to report.
- Introductory call (20–30 minutes). We confirm whether your question fits retirement planning, an investment review, mortgage cover, or estate guidance, and we send a document list.
- Discovery meeting. In person at 2115 Gislason Pike, Upton Romagueraford, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom or by video. We gather goals, dependants, existing policies, and any deadlines such as a mortgage offer expiry.
- Analysis. Cash-flow sketches, charge comparisons, or lender shortlists depending on the consultation. You receive a fee confirmation before this stage if not already agreed.
- Recommendation meeting. We walk through the written report in plain English, including what we are not recommending and why.
- Implementation support where agreed. Forms, provider applications, or solicitor introductions. You remain free to pause after receiving the report.
- Follow-up. Flagship retirement engagements include a call within 90 days; other consultations can book a paid review later.
What we need from you
Accurate statements beat approximate memory. Bring pension valuations, ISA summaries, mortgage illustrations, and a note of monthly essentials. If adult children are part of an estate conversation, decide in advance how much detail you want shared with them.
