Refund & cancellation policy
This policy applies to fee-based financial advice consultations with Linden Court Financial. It does not cover products we do not sell through this site.
Eligibility
Refunds relate to engagement fees and deposits paid for consultations such as Retirement Income Planning, Investment Portfolio Review, and Inheritance Tax & Estate Planning Guidance. Mortgage advice arrangements that rely on lender commission are disclosed separately and may not involve a client fee.
Timeframe
Cancel in writing (email is fine) at least five working days before a booked discovery meeting for a full deposit refund. Cancellations inside five working days may receive a partial refund after diary costs are deducted.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund of unused fees if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and no suitable reschedule is agreed
- Partial refund if analysis has started but the recommendation meeting has not occurred — reflecting work completed
- No refund of fees for stages already delivered once a written report has been issued
Non-refundable items
Third-party charges you authorise (for example medical underwriting fees for protection applications, or solicitor retainers after introduction) are outside our refund remit. Time already spent on modelling after you approved the fee is non-refundable.
Process
Email hello@webapigateway.digital with your name, engagement type, and payment reference. We confirm eligibility within five working days.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen working days of approval.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a discovery or recommendation meeting once without charge if you give at least three working days’ notice. Further changes may incur a diary fee disclosed in advance.
Deposits
Booking deposits secure planner time. They are applied to the engagement fee on completion or handled under the cancellation rules above.
No-shows
If you miss a confirmed meeting without notice, the deposit may be retained. We will offer one courtesy reschedule at our discretion.
Work already started
Once fact-finding documents have been analysed, fees for that stage remain due even if you later decide not to implement recommendations.
Purchased materials
We do not sell physical products or course packs through this website. Any documents we prepare for your engagement are covered by the engagement fee rules above.
